How the enquiry security check works

Before an enquiry is accepted, your browser completes a short background calculation. The server verifies the result, checks that the challenge has not expired and prevents reuse. A hidden form field and request limits provide additional protection. These checks are used for security, not advertising or cross-site tracking.

An essential, signed cookie called bep_enquiry_client keeps the security check linked to your browser even if your network or the hosting proxy changes. It lasts up to 24 hours, is not accessible to page scripts, and is used only for enquiry security and request limits. Security records use a pseudonymous hash, not your contact details. No puzzle or marketing consent is required. If cookies are blocked, allow essential cookies and retry.
